Tiger Charts of
SP-500 with Tiger's Opening and Closing Power 1994-2011 Practice Spotting the Closing Power Trend-Breaks Treat the signals here as advisory. Trade the trend of the Closing Power, except in periods of high public speculation, as in 1999-2000. See the trend of Opening Power, too. This gives you a sense of what openings are likely to do. Big moves are often made when both Opening and CLosing Power are going in the same direction. B21 and S21s periodically show the BOTH UP and BOTH DOWN considtion. Usually clear CLosing Power trend-breaks work well. Notice the S7s and B7s that advise you of a big divergence between price and CLosing Power. . Sometimes useful is Chaiken's IDOSC. Note the changes of directions and NC's. The IDOSC changes of direction work well when the market is uptrending. When they fail, it is a sign of a weakening or downtrending market. Vertical lines are shown where the IDOSC turns up in negative territory. IDOSC turns up after they have failed to confirm a new low by making a new low of their own are more likely to work.
